Refund policy

We want you to feel confident when shopping with Say It With Threadr. If something isn’t right with your order, this page explains exactly how returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds work.


1. Return Eligibility & Conditions

We have a 45-day return policy. This means you can request a return within 45 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be in the same condition as received

  • Unworn, unwashed, unused, free from odors or stains

  • All tags and labels attached

  • In the original packaging, where possible

  • You must provide receipt or proof of purchase

Non-returnable items:

  • Custom or personalized items (e.g. custom embroidery, special-order designs)

  • Final sale / clearance items, where clearly marked at checkout

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, please contact us before sending it back.


2. How to Request a Return

  1. Email us at support@sayitwiththreadr.com with:

    • Your full name

    • Order number

    • The item(s) you wish to return

    • Reason for the return (change of mind, wrong size, damaged item, wrong item received, etc.)

     

  2. Our team will review your request and confirm if it is approved.

  3. If approved, we will send:

    • The return instructions

    • The return shipping address (see below)

    • A return shipping label, if applicable

Important:
Items sent back to us without first submitting a return request and receiving confirmation will not be accepted.

3. Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • For change of mind / wrong size / not as expected:
    Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • For damaged items, faulty products, or if you received the wrong item:
    Once verified, we cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs in line with our instructions.

Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable, except where required by law or where the return is due to our error.


4. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong product:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@sayitwiththreadr.com.

  2. Include:

    • Order number

    • Description of the issue

    • Clear photos of the product and packaging

  3. We will review your claim and offer one of the following:

    • Replacement

    • Store credit

    • Full or partial refund (depending on the issue)

We always aim to resolve these cases fairly and promptly.


5. Exchanges

If you would like a different size or style:

  1. Submit a return request following the process above.

  2. Once your return is approved, you can:

    • Place a new order for the desired item, or

    • Request an exchange option if available at that time.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.


6. Order Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel or change your order, contact us as soon as possible at support@sayitwiththreadr.com.

  • If your order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to cancel or update it.

  • If your order has already shipped, it will be handled as a standard return under this policy.


7. European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For orders shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason.

To use this right:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery.

  • Item must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging.

  • Once the return is received and approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

These rights apply in addition to our standard 45-day policy where applicable.


8. Refund Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  1. We will email you to confirm approval or rejection of your refund.

  2. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  3. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the funds.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at support@sayitwiththreadr.com.
